Personal Protective Equipment

Throughout the pandemic, more than 200 U.S. health industry distributors demonstrated why they are recognized as trusted partners by healthcare providers, manufacturers, and the government – especially when it comes to personal protective equipment (PPE).

Distributors are able to capitalize on their existing infrastructure and apply their expertise to find and vet new sources of FDA-approved supplies.

Shortages of PPE and other critical medical supplies during the pandemic are the result of a globalization of the PPE supply chain, a shortage of PPE supply, and a rapid and sustained increase in global PPE demand. Strong demand for PPE will continue in the immediate future and beyond.
