Linda Rouse O’Neill Specializing in healthcare legislation with 20 years combined experience on Capitol Hill and in healthcare related associations, Linda Rouse O’Neill leads HIDA’s government affairs team in creating strategic initiatives to advance the interests of healthcare distributors and the supply chain through informed advocacy.
Linda’s areas of expertise include Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, emergency preparedness, health IT, advocacy issues including medical device tax, UDI and competitive bidding – providing members with industry-relevant government data in the most accessible format possible. She frequently speaks and writes on legislation currently affecting the health distribution industry.
Prior to joining HIDA, Linda served as Director of Federal Affairs for Premier, Inc. a leading healthcare alliance, spent four years working on healthcare issues for Senator Craig Thomas and two years at the National Rural Health Association. Linda holds a Masters from George Washington University in Legislative Affairs and a degree in American History from the State University of New York at Albany.
