About the Presenters

Linda Rouse O'Neill

Linda leads HIDA’s Government Affairs department. She has a wealth of government affairs experience in the healthcare arena. Prior to joining HIDA, Linda served as Director of Federal Affairs for Premier, Inc. Her areas of expertise include Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, health IT/Electronic Health Records, unique device identification (UDI) and healthcare acquired infections. Before Premiere, she spent four years working on healthcare issues for Senator Craig Thomas who is a Republican from Wyoming.

Mary Beth Spencer

Mary Beth Spencer joined HIDA in February of 2016 as Manager of Government Affairs. Prior to HIDA, Mary Beth worked on Capitol Hill for Congressman Greg Walden (R-OR), Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee and former Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Additionally, she managed the national fundraising efforts for Governor Linda Lingle’s 2012 bid for the United States Senate in Hawaii. Mary Beth earned her B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. Mary Beth is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs at the George Washington School of Political Management.
